Anna Newheiser

I'm a PhD student in social psychology at Yale  University, and am primarily interested in the relationship between prejudice and the ways in which people think about the nature of social groups. My main research examines people's perceptions of the "essences" of groups and their  motivations for thinking that certain collections of people are entities in their own right.
